Fiona Ghallgher is my lifecoach
Fiona Ghallergeher was more than a character off a show. She was left by her mother at a young age leaving her with her drug addict narcissistic dad. Her mother was mentally unstable and suffering from bipolar disorder. Fiona grew up in neglect and was forced to become self-sufficient. In showing up for herself and all her siblings Debbie, Carl, Lip, Ian, and Liam. Fiona was the definition of a sister mommy. Any responsibility that a parent would step up and do fell on Fiona. This was her life and she didn't live begrudgingly she was kind to her siblings and emotionally present whenever they needed it and when they needed to be straightened out she provided that too. Fiona did way more than the average sibling would ever need to do all unasked. This is a character that touched me so deeply because I know many people who come from shitty situations and have managed to not become a product of their environment but make their environment a product of them just like Fiona. It is admirable and I know many people written and living just like Fiona. I think it is powerful when film involves relatable people whether we like them or not we can pinpoint many living people with their mannerisms, mindset, or lifestyles. Do you know a Fiona too?
