Reciprocity
I am sitting in a library right now in a new spot because a spider is quite fond of my favorite one. To my left I honestly see a forest. A few dozen lychee trees observe me typing away at a tiny desk I've grown to appreciate that's foreign. I see tons of lights throughout the room. In dangling braids, clean eyeglasses and books standing like soldiers, some confident a few in need of rest. This library has an echo. Souls that want to learn, people who feel they can't, a few in need of cash and the others who know how to appreciate. The subtle art of looking without expecting to touch. I am sitting in a library glad I made time for what I want to consume because it also consumes me.
