It's a lie.

Writer's block is not real to me. I speak a language fluently and have an abundance of words and rules I may or may not follow. I have 100% mobility in each hand and the neurons are functioning. There's no block. You know Briana West wrote a book talking about the mountain is you. That's what writer's block is. Saying, “you know I'm just going to sit here, I can't write this yet because of the time, my obligation, my day, my lack of confidence”.  A million and one reasons and not one solid excuse. You know what a writing block would be?  Someone chopping off my fingers. And even then I can talk in order to type. Excuses do sound best to the people making them. The idea that you should not pursue something because it won't be perfect or liked is really just a cop out to sit on your ass.
